About
In 1950, the journey began as a small gun shop in Westchester County, NY. Under entrepreneur George Numrich’s leadership, it became America’s leading gun parts and accessories supplier.
The respected brand upholds America’s firearms heritage by supplying parts from different historical periods. With seven warehouses and an inventory spanning 1,000,000 cubic feet, it guarantees excellence, restoration, and durability for both vintage and contemporary firearms. Currently a worldwide leader in gun parts, primarily serving customers in the USA and Canada with some regional product restrictions, this enterprise aims to enhance online commerce by migrating from its current system to the Adobe Commerce Cloud platform.

Key Challenges
Legacy System to Adobe
The gun part seller needed extensive data migration from its legacy system to Adobe Commerce.
Shipping Restriction
The firearm supplier faced shipping limitations due to regulations, restricting deliveries based on location.
Product Search
It required an efficient searching and listing platform for individual gun parts from a comprehensive layout of the entire firearm.
ERP Integration
They had an in-house ERP with rigid flow, which led to limited flexibility and stuck processes.
Our Solutions
Transforming Data for Seamless Commerce
As the third-party vendor, we faced challenges accessing their U.S.-hosted website due to server restrictions. Despite these hurdles, our team successfully migrated extensive data to Adobe Commerce, including 250K SKUs, 1.5 M orders, approximately 700,000 customer records and their wishlist, 11,000 categories, and rich content such as blogs and forum discussions. This complex data transformation required significant time and effort to ensure full compatibility and seamless functionality with Adobe Commerce.
Enhanced FFL Compliance and Order Hold Features
We developed a dedicated customer group for Federal Firearms License (FFL) holders, integrating data from the ERP system. Adobe Commerce retrieves the customer information, authorized FFL address, and expiration date. If customers add FFL-restricted items to their cart, the system verifies their credentials and shipping details. Purchases are redirected to the FFL-approved address.
We provided Hold Cord solution for the firearm accessories supplier, to streamline their order process. After an order is placed, the system automatically checks the set rules we configured. If any of these hold conditions are triggered, the order is passed to the ERP system. This allows the supplier to review, verify, and approve the order details before moving forward.
AI-Driven Search and Personalized Recommendations
Our AI-powered live search redefines user interaction on our platform by delivering instant, tailored search results. Leveraging Adobe Sensei’s AI-driven recommendations, we crafted a search system that provides precise, context-specific results for each query. This advanced solution allows users to effortlessly locate everything from individual product parts to complete product lines.
With dynamic search features and rapid response times, our platform guarantees accurate, relevant results in real time. This AI-driven approach enhances user experience with personalized recommendations and streamlines navigation, making product discovery intuitive, faster, and more efficient.
Enhanced Shipping Restrictions and Location-Based Customization
Our solution introduced advanced location-based restrictions to comply with federal and state regulations. The website automatically identifies and restricts items based on the buyer’s location by integrating the shipping restrictions rule.
This approach ensures compliance with all legal requirements, allowing only permitted sales per region. These enhancements provide a secure shopping experience while empowering dealers and suppliers to manage product availability and shipping seamlessly to FFL-marked locations.
Our Approach
Assessing the gun part supplier’s needs involved understanding product restrictions and tailoring the approach to address specific sales and audience targeting challenges.
