Developed an Integrated Online Portal with Catalog-Based Websites
We implemented a catalog-based website for each brand—American Lighting, Brightlux and Proluxe Lighting, and Prizm Lighting—tailored to their specific audiences. We developed a unified portal with integrated pricing and custom product configurations that reflect Oracle fusion data.
This solution streamlined order management and ensured consistency across different websites, aligning with the diverse needs of each audience while simplifying the ordering process.
We also integrated the ACE configurator with Adobe Commerce, optimizing its size to minimize server space requirements. This adjustment allowed us to host both systems on the same Adobe Cloud server, reducing costs and maintenance associated with managing separate servers.
Bidirectional Data Flow
We tackled the integration of Oracle ERP with the commerce platform by implementing a solution. Although this was costly, it was crucial for ensuring seamless bidirectional data flow and real-time updates between the ERP system and the online portal.
Additionally, we managed complex data migration involving over 5,000 organizations, each comprising up to 200 sets, ensuring accurate synchronization across all entities. We also integrated an Open API to enhance flexibility, enabling smooth data flow and system connectivity.
This approach guarantees accurate and timely data synchronization, vital for maintaining operational efficiency and minimizing manual intervention.
Replicated ERP Processes on the Commerce Platform
One of the main challenges was replicating the complex ERP processes on a new commerce platform, which was essential for maintaining the existing operational workflow.
As an Adobe commerce partner, we customized the system to mirror the ERP’s functions, ensuring seamless data flow and order processing.
This solution preserved the brand’s unique selling journey and provided an online experience consistent with their offline operations, laying the groundwork for future B2C expansion.
Simplified Complex Company Structure and Location-Based Pricing
Our business had a complex structure with varying pricing, payment methods, and shipping rules across locations. We simplified this by consolidating different locations into a single company on the platform, standardizing payment and shipping processes while allowing location-specific offers and methods.
We streamlined order processing, aligned billing at the account level, and ensured consistency across units. We developed an efficient order tracking system that doesn’t require login, incorporated PO number tracking, and enhanced the checkout process.
Custom shipping rules and special offers further improved the customer experience, reducing manual workload and providing a seamless, user-friendly order management experience.
